Hello! I’m Erin

I’m a writer, writing coach, and editor, and I’ve been working with every type of writer for years now. I understand what makes a story work, and I pay attention to all those important big-picture things, from character development to structure.

I want you to have a coaching and editing experience that leaves you feeling energized for what’s to come. I want you to feel like it might be a lot of work, but you’re ready, and you’re excited.

As someone who’s been studying and analyzing stories for over a decade, I’m here to help you make your work the best it can be. In the past, I’ve helped writers hammer out their plot, improve their characters, develop their worldbuilding, and balance their tone. I can help you do the same.

I offer writing coaching and manuscript evaluations. I have the most experience with romance, speculative fiction, and young adult. However, I’m open to most works. If you’re wondering if we’re a good fit, just reach out to me!

Writing Coaching

For when you need some set feedback on a small piece of writing and some support to keep going. I’ll review your writing, and then we’ll meet for an hour to go over whatever you want. Whether you need to work through a writing issue or a life issue, I’ve got you.

Manuscript Evals

You’ve finally finished your book. What now? It’s done, but you don’t feel like it’s finished enough to shell out a bunch of money to have it copyedited. You think you might need another draft, but you want feedback to be sure. Basically, you want your book to be the best it can possibly be. You’re just not sure how to start. This is where I come in. 

Price:
$350 (under 50k words)
$500 (under 100k words)
$750 (under 150k words)

The Details:

1 pass of your book
2-3 page letter going over big picture concerns
I probably won’t be able to resist some comments
Add-on: 1-hour meeting – $50
