Trip to North Hampton

I recently went to North Hampton, NH with my parents and my newest little one. I wanted to get pictures of the beach because the last time I took pictures of the beach, I knew significantly less about how to take and edit photographs. So, I wanted to try again with my expanded knowledge (and new camera/lenses). My little one ended up not wanting to stay in the pram, so I put him in the carrier and took him with me as I walked around, taking pictures. It was a great time, and I enjoyed being able to experiment with different lens lengths and angles.

North Hampton Beach in New Hampshire

I’d never been to North Hampton beach before, just Hampton. The two beaches are pretty different, but each are worth a visit. Hampton has more to do like arcades, food stands, and shops. It also has more beach in general with a much longer stretch of sand. The result is more people and less parking, but it can also be more fun.

Meanwhile, North Hampton doesn’t really have anything to do around it, but it’s a bit prettier and absolutely less crowded. This means, if you’re looking to take gorgeous photos, North Hampton is probably your best bet.

During our visit there, we walked around the beach, and then, there was a series of fishing houses nearby that were so interesting to see and learn about. They’re basically house-sheds that open up during the summer to be tiny beach houses. They’re right on the water and come with tiny patios. (They’re also $600k despite how small they are.) There was also a small garden nearby that meant I could get some flower photos.

It was really fun being able to visit North Hampton and get a variety of photos from it. I hope you enjoy them!
